Rancho Arbolitos is a family friendly community in Poway, California that is close to many parks, trails, golf courses, and a swimming facility.
Rancho Arbolitos has a variety of luxury home floor plans while being a little more affordable than other areas of the city. Residents do not pay any Home Owners Association fees or Mello Roos taxes. The Poway Unified School District has jurisdiction over this neighborhood. Students may attend highly ranked facilities like Pomerado Elementary School, Meadowbrook Middle School, and Poway High School. There are also several private institutions to choose from including Cornerstone Christian Montessori School, Mt. Olive Lutheran Preschool, and Poway Christian School. This is the home of Bellus Academy and Berean Bible College.
This community is minutes away from the Rancho Arbolitos Swim & Tennis Club which features many programs, lessons, and seasonal camps. To the west is the Carmel Mountain Country Club which features a Ron Fream designed course as well as a Pro Shop, practice facilities, and special event hosting.
Lake Poway offers something for everyone. Residents enjoy coming here for horseback riding, hiking, fishing, archery, and boating. The park also has playgrounds, sports parks, and barbecue pits. And the summer brings many musical concerts. The Blue Sky Ecological Reserve features 700 acres of hills and coastal scrub where you will find a lot of fauna and flora. Hiking the trails is free of charge to the public during daytime hours.
Residents are within minutes to their favorite stores and restaurants with centers like Creekside Plaza, Twin Peaks Plaza Shopping Center, and Poway Plaza.
This rural setting has given Poway the slogan - “The City in the Country.” Old Town Poway has a Farmer’s Market on a weekly basis. The Poway center for the Performing Arts has many live performances.
